Speed Fuel Corp ("Speed Cigars", "we", "us", "our") operates speedcigars.com and its related services (the "Services"). Our store runs on Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you visit the Services, make a purchase, or contact us. By using the Services, you acknowledge this Policy. If this Policy conflicts with our Terms and Conditions on how personal information is handled, this Policy controls.

1. Adults only

The Services are intended only for adults aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us at support@speedcigars.com.

2. Information we collect

Contact details: name, billing and shipping addresses, email address and phone number.
Age and identity verification data: date of birth, and the name and address you give us for verification. If an automated check fails, this can include an image of a government-issued ID that you provide.
Order information: the items you view, add to your cart or buy, plus returns, cancellations and order history.
Payment information: payment card details are entered into our payment processors' systems. We receive only limited details, such as card type, last four digits, and the authorization result. We do not store full card numbers.
Account information: username, password, preferences and settings.
Communications: messages you send us, such as support requests and reviews.
Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you interact with the Services, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Sources

We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use the Services, and from service providers such as age verification providers, payment processors, carriers and Shopify.

4. How we use information

To provide the Services and fulfill orders, including processing payments, shipping, returns and customer support.
To verify that you are 21 or older, and to meet legal requirements that apply to the sale and delivery of tobacco products, including adult signature at delivery.
To prevent fraud, protect the security of the Services, and enforce our terms.
To meet our tax, recordkeeping and other legal obligations.
To send transactional messages about your orders.
To send marketing email only if you have opted in and confirmed that you are 21 or older. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not send marketing text messages.
To understand and improve the Services through analytics.

5. How we disclose information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We disclose information to:

Shopify and other service providers who host the store, process data on our behalf, provide analytics, send email, collect reviews or provide support.
Age verification providers, who check the information you provide against identity data sources. They may keep verification records under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
Payment processors and gateways, including our merchant services provider and its partner banks, to process payments, prevent fraud and handle chargebacks.
Shipping carriers such as USPS and UPS, to deliver orders and obtain an adult signature at delivery.
Professional advisers and authorities, when required by law, such as tax and tobacco regulators, or when needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.
A successor business, in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Some advertising or analytics cookies may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain state laws. You can opt out as described in Section 8.

6. Shopify

Shopify processes personal information to provide the store platform and to improve its services. For more on how Shopify handles personal information, see https://privacy.shopify.com/en.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the store, remember your cart and age confirmation, keep the site secure, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the store works. Where the law requires it, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out request.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act and similar state laws, you may have the right to:

access your personal information;
correct it;
delete it;
receive a portable copy of it;
opt out of targeted advertising, sale or profiling; and
appeal our decision on a request.

To make a request, email support@speedcigars.com or use the "Your Privacy Choices" link on the Site. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some information, such as age verification and order records, may be kept even after a deletion request where the law requires it.

9. Retention

We keep personal information as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy. This includes keeping order, tax and age verification records for as long as tobacco, tax and other laws require. We then delete or de-identify it.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Third-party links

The Services may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are not covered by this Policy.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy and will post the new version with a revised "Last updated" date.
